So, we have all heard what I had originally thought (and hoped) was just a joke on SNL, that Palin actually believes that her proximity to to Russia by living in Alaska actually gives her some foreign policy experience. Here she tries to explain it. And - as noted by Joe Garofoli in the S.F. Chronicle - try to remember as you watch it that this could very well be your next Vice President, let alone your next President should someone kick the bucket.....

I guess I can qualify for an expert on Mexico since it is so close, or some other Asian countries since there is such a huge population out here. That seems to follow the same logic. Maybe I'll just run for office next race!
