Super Bowl 2009

Y'know, I am not a huge fan of watching football on a regular basis. During the season, I may catch a few games here and there, and mostly those game are when the S.F. 49ers are playing. Just have not been that interested in anything during the regular season. So why is it that I always get excited over Super Bowl? Maybe I am just more into the social aspect of it all as we tend to have a few people over to watch. Anyway, I am stoked that our friends Scott & Renee as well as our friend Layce are planning on coming over to enjoy the Big Game on our HDTV with surround sound (yes, I am a huge geek like that and am so into watching everything in HD....). This will be the second year that Amy will be able to enjoy the game at home; previously, she has lined up work bartending at a party some local people put together that entertains pretty much those people's entire neighborhood (she has made some damn good money doing this party....but it is more fun having her stay at home....).

Anyway, will give you an update after Sunday. Right now I am megadosing on cold meds to get rid of this cold I caught from Devlin, who in turn caught it at daycare. Kids are such nasty little germ farms............. :)

As something of an addendum, there is one aspect of the Super Bowl I am not looking forward to: the Bruce Springsteen Halftime performance.

I hate Springsteen with every fiber of my being. That will be beer/food/bathroom break time.....
