Something is definitely wrong with the subscription process. I not only registered my personal gmail address, which I know was not getting notified, I registered my work email address and still did not get notified. It's not trapped in my spam or quarantine folders. If it wasn't for you posting elsewhere I'd have no way of knowing. I think you should file a complaint.
